I entered an Audiobook into the system, which has a request. However, their request includes the following condition:
“Please, no writing, underlighting, or highlingting in books--especially "workbooks"--thanks!”
So I don’t know if that’s an all-purpose request that appends every request, or if that’s specific to the item I’ve posted. I don’t want to assume in either direction. Is there a way to PM the requestor to clarify that what I’ve posted is an Audiobook? I don’t see a PM link like there was yesterday when the item was on auto-request waiting for the requestor to accept. |

Robert, I think your audiobook is fine. This RC states specifically books and workbooks, meaning printed books, not audio.
How would you underline a voice recording?

I'm sure the request is fine, however if you get questionable requests like this in the future, you can initally accept the request and then PM the requestor for clarification. After clarification is received, either one of you can still cancel it. This method has worked for me so far. |

My only concern is that the requestor might have performed a title search without realizing they'd selected an audiobook. It may just be an all-purpose condition request that goes out to each wish-listed item. I just wanted to caution on the safe side. |

I think you're fine. Two credits would have been debited from her -- I'm guessing she would notice. RC's go to everyone so no matter what type of media it is (books, audio, hardcover, paperback, wishlisted or not), the RC is going to show up. When she orders a book, the RC shows up. Also, I'm a little confused on the "wishlist" thing. Was this a wishlist item? If you posted it and it went to someone's wishlist then you need to figure they wanted it. I don't have anything on my wishlist that I don't want. |
