Love it, wonderful story! I was skeptical that anyone could write a romance with a character with this particular issue, but she makes it work. (Won't be specific in case it's a spoiler.)  I've also read a novel about the Salem witch trials that was very good and started a Western that I couldn't get into.

I read The Way Home by her and I liked it . It was really interesting and not your typical trap your man with a baby plot. I need to check this one out.

Margaret!!  I can't believe how much we have in common.   The Portrait is one of my most favorite books.  I also found Pamela Morsi through your recommendation.
