Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen. Include the details of her PM and request that they cancel the order for you so that you can move on to the next person in the FIFO line.

Only PBS can cancel a transaction once it's been mailed.

One way to get around this is to have the sender give you a credit.  Then you can mark the book as "received".  I've had to do that a couple of times, as sender and receiver, when the book had come back to the sender damaged.  This only works if you are dealing with NONWL books, as the receiver needs to be able to maintain their place in line.  When dealing with a WL book, you need to contact TPTB to resolve the issue before the Lost date.

The SENDER should use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen and ask to have this transaction canceled.

The requestor cannot mark a book "lost in the mail". That's just something that the system does automatically after 26 days.
