I'm new to the club and have a question. I thought I read that members have a rating that other members can see.  Is this correct? Is there a way to tell if a member is reputable, easy to work with, etc?

No, there's no feedback system here.  Because the system uses FIFO, the system is going to choose the sender for you when you request a book.

Once you receive the book, you are able to say whether the book meets the posting guidelines and if it doesn't, PBS does note that on the sender's "record."  Too many complaints, and they'll look into it - but that's going on behind the scenes.

Hopefully as you begin to order and receive books, you'll see that by far, most of the members here are great!  I've had hundreds of transactions, and only had trouble with 3 or 4 members.

I have to say that I really like the anonymous non-rated state of affairs.  I like that the system takes care of everything.  I have really enjoyed being a member here and have gotten a lot of great books.  I just hope that somebody wants some of them when I get through reading them!
