I have TONS of books for my son, but now he's at the age where he wants to look at them on his own, or hold them while I read, so the regular books we have are in danger of being torn! I'm looking for members who have board books for children. I would gladly take anything but he really likes animals, pictures of babies, and colors. I would REALLY like deals on board books, and/or do these through Box o Books.

Also, I was wondering if anyone else wished they would make the classic books into board books? I love reading to my son, esp the books I read when I was younger, but like I said the pages can easily be torn with 17 month old hands. When he was a baby we read Super Fudge together and he liked the different voices then, so I'm sure he would LOVE it now, but I'm afraid to pull it out. I want to keep these books in good condition so when he's learning to read we have books to share together.

Thanks!

Here are the board books I have.  Most aren't listed on my shelf because I feel they are a little worn... they have been through my own son's "active" reading :  ) and some don't have ISBNs.  I would be happy to do a deal on them if there are any that interest you.

  • My First Animal Book:  0789427834 (one page as some tape on it)
  • Piglet is Entirely Surroned by Water (no ISBN)
  • A Star Shaped Photo book (you slide the photos inbetween the slots of the cardboard pages) 0741617161
  • I Want to Be A Builder  0312490984
  • One, Two, Three! Sandra Boyton 1563054442
  • Disney Babies What's Up High? 0307061000

We could do a 4/1 or 6/2 if you think your son might like any of these.
