Space Opera at its Finest. Man can Lois McMaster Bujold write and Miles is the perfect hero.
Not my favorite in the series, but a good read none the less. Miles loses his job in Impsec Security, but still ends up in the middle of solving a conspiracy - of course :-)
Great story, keeps you involved. Should be read as part of a series but stands well on its own.
Ones of the later Miles V.'s adventures. I have found that I have enjoyed the older Miles as much as the earlier ones. All set on on Barrayar and just as fun as any of his space exploits. Miles gets to be the unlikely hero once again by figuring out what is going on with Simon Illyan and the security services. Admiral Naismith does have to be retired though. Sigh!
