copyright date of 1973. Very dated in viewpoint. Interesting read.
Merle Shain has a lovely, poetic way of looking at the human state and all its impossibilities. I recommend all of her books except "Hearts That We Broke Long Ago". It was too sad for me to read. All the rest are beautiful and insightful.
