The few minutes I've seen of the tv show was the Halloween episode, and this book appears to follow the episode pretty closely. So if your children like that show, this is perfect for them.
The book will stand alone too, of course, and is actually kinda cute. Mickey and his friends are going to a party, and have to look for things along the way. Lift-the-flaps to see what they find, and how they help out their friend in the end!
