A pleasant change from the modern vampire novels (where vampires are the protags, and sit around and whine all the time). The vampires have taken over - can a priest, a rabbi, a nun and a lesbian do anything about it?

No, really, it's good. It's fun. Fast paced and gritty. Good stuff.

Vampires have come out of the closet with a vengence. Only four people now stand against them...a priest, a rabbi, a nun and a lesbian. This is gearing up to be either a really bad joke or a great battle for the survival of humanity.

A great vampire book! F. Paul Wilson makes them scary again, and gives humanity little hope against the creatures. Best of all? NO sparkly, boring vampires in sight!

This was the first F. Paul Wilson book i read and like and really liked it a lot. Enough to read a lot of his other books, and haven't been disappointed yet. This isn't like a lot of vampire books that try to be romantic, or make you feel for the misjudged vampire. Nice to see some vicious vampires again. Like Salems lot, only they have taken over the whole U.S. soon to be whole world. This is definitely my kind of vampire novel.
