This one was a little harder for me to get into than the first two books in the series, as it was almost a little slow going in the writing style, but it quickly pics up after the disaster aboard Twig's ship which leaves him looking for his lost crew.

Through illustrations and storytelling, readers of any age can appreciate the creativity of the world and it's creatures that the author has brought to life. Although, there is some violence that the really young may not care for.

This whole series is wonderful! My nine-year-old son liked these books even better than Harry Potter.

Book three of the Edge Chronicles. A great Mother Storm is brewing, and the city of Sanctaphrax is in its path... only Twig can alert the city to the danger, but he has lost his memory! As with all of the Edge Chronicles, beautiful illustrations throughout.
