Having read all the books in this series, this is my least favorite. This series is so different from other fantasy or paranormal with the fallen angels, vampires, demons, etc.

The love story and interaction between Heather and Dante is what makes these books so special. And that is the biggest problem with this story, no interaction and no romance between this couple until the very end of the book, and I mean the last few pages.
This book literally picked up with the very next paragraph from the last book. So what took 2 years?

PROS- The glossary in the beginning is very helpful. There is some interesting back story for Von and Annie (Heather's sister) and some of the band members. We learn more about Caterina and her motives. The story line advances with more information about Lucian, Morningstar, and Hecate.

CONS- My usual problem with the choppy, jumping around from one character and story to another. I guess that is just this author's writing style but it is very annoying and distracting and hard to follow. We need another glossary to list all the characters because if it takes another 2 years, I will forget who all these people are.

Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of romance and so little advancement in the story.
