Shortest novel I've ever read at 88 pages; just OK - this author has done much better.

This book is very short, but excellent. It is about Francesca who thought that a week at a medieval fair outside London would help her get away from her store, Cinderella's Closet, memories of her exhusband, Geoffrey and everything. She rents a wench's dress, determines to have fun. Magic intervenes. She finds herself suddenly in another world, which looks a lot like the real medieval England, with superstitious villagers who can't figure out whether she is an angel or a witch. Braden Stuart-Ramsey, the Duke of Sunderlin makes it his mission to find out.

Francesca thought a week at a medieval fair outside of London would help her get away from it all. Decked out in a rented wench's dress, she's determined to enjoy the fun when sweet, dangerous magic intervenes. Suddenly she finds herself in another world, and it looks an awful lot like the real medieval England, complete with superstitious villagers who wonder if she's an angel - or a witch. But to Braden Stuart-Ramsey, the handsome Duke of Sunderlink, she's just one thing: an enchantingly delectable woman. . .
