Reviewer: Maria Wiegand (Killeen, TX USA) -
A Midwinter's Night was a wonderful book.
Jean Canavan combined strengh and weakness in her character's that brought them to life, as well as, insight into the depth of love a man can truly have for a woman.
Her knowledge of the ancient laws during that time lends a reality to her writing that is often overlooked. You will find yourself pulled into the lives of the characters, and the witty banter will have you laughing out loud. I couldn't put it down.
