This book holds some serious sentimentality for me, I grew up on it and it's prequel, Freak the Mighty. I still underline words I look up in dictionaries.

Maxwell Kane is a special ed boy who meets another boy who is physically handicapped but a "genius". They hit it off and pair up to become "freak the mighty!" Thier adventures will tear at your heart and cause tears to well up in your eyes. Inside each boy beats a heart that is perfect and whole. This is a tear-jerker with moments that will make you laugh until you cry.
