This is a sweet story about a little bear who stays overnight with his parents at Grandma's and Grandpa's. He gets up during the night, peers into the basement and sees Grandpa feeding a dragon!! He has a bad dream about the dragon and wakes up crying. All the adults show him that the dragon is actually a wood stove and they all have milk and cookies. A nice way to show children that not everything they don't understand is frightening.

This is my youngest daughter and my husbands favorite book to read together. We have a wood stove so it relates to our family well. When my husband reads it to my daughter he inserts her name before the Baby Bear and inserts our grandparents names instead of the ones in the book. Great book!

a good bedtime book. It's an older book so the pictures are bright like new ones are with the colors. simple but cute.
