Wonderful biography of a woman who endured growing up with a father diagnosed with BiPolar, and the problems it caused their entire family. She was sexually abused by their landlord, and suffered with blindness. She tells of her battles with these issues as well as her couragious struggle to deal with them. A true story of heroism.
Millicent is not a professional writer and it really shows. She tends to ramble at times, especially in the beginning, but her story is worth telling and worth reading. It is too bad that she didn't have better editors. It is very uplifting and I would read it again.
