Mind Over Marriage by Rebecca Daniels is the story of Kelsey and Cooper Reed. Once happily married, Kelsey demanded a divorce when she discovered she couldn't bear children. Coop has spent the last two years trying to put his life back together, but when his former father-in-law calls and says Kelsey needs him, he doesn't hesitate.
Kelsey has been in a critical accident. She survived except for a minor detail: she has no memory of the past two years and thinks she and Coop are still married. Though amnesia is a perennial plot device, Daniels puts a fresh spin on it with no melodramatics, just honest emotion on both sides.

This wasn't your typical amnesia story. A couple still in love after divorcing still act very much like husband and wife. He's forced by doctors to pretend everything is as it used to be while she is allowed to regain her memory at her own pace. If told before she remembers on her own, parts of her memory may be lost forever. Bits and pieces of their life are revealed to the reader as she regains her memory and finally her relationship with her ex-husband. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it.
