I really enjoyed the story and the authors style. This was the first time I have read her.
Tamar Myers has a great series of funy mysteries.
Antique dealer solves theft and murder
North Carolline native Abigail Timberlake, owner of the Den of Antiquity, is quik to dismiss the seller of a hideous old vase--until the poor lady comes hurtling back through the shop windolw minutes later, the victum of a fatal hit-and-run.
Reads fast, pleasant read.
Funny and fun .... nice addition to the series.
Another in the Den of Antiquity series; great reading for cozy lovers!
Tamer Myers books are so much fun to read. As in her other series, the heroine is down to earth, with lots of background characters to add spice to the mystery. The Den of Antiquity series is a "laugh-out-loud" read.
North Carolina native Abigail Timberlake, owner of Den of Antiquity antique store, is quick to dismiss the seller of a hideous old vase -- until the old lady comes hurtling back through her shop window, the victim of a hit and run and the vase turns out to be genuine "Ming Dynasty" vase and disappears. Her own eccentric mama's credentials help her gain access to the Daughters of the Confederacy who just happne to also want the vase, but digging into the long-festering secrets of the Old South might just land Abby six feet under in the family plot.
Great characters, and some of them are characters! Really creative and fun mysteries and the bodies are never just discovered in the mundane way. I love this series and ordered them all. The only drawback is that the author doesn't write as fast as I read.
Tamar Myers is the funniest mystery writer around. This one will keep you laughing even as you try to figure out the solution.
This was a wonderfully fast read! I really enjoyed it!
