Is there a minimum number of books for a box swap?  Can I do a box swap for just 1 book?

You can swap as many or as little as you want. I quite often do swaps with just one book. It saves using a credit.

I know a lot of people (including me) prefer to do boxes for more than 1 or 2 books. It's a lot easier for me to justify my postage budget if I'm maximizing it. :)

I don't mind one book boxes. Most times, it's light enough to go first class...and in this particular instance, that's cheaper than media mail and arrives quicker!

Never really makes sense to me when people automatically decline a single book box (not saying you do, Stacey, I just know some do) if there's a book on the other member's shelf that you want, what difference does it make if you spend the unjustified single book postage to get it, or spend a credit to get it? I just don't quite understand that.

I do a lot of 1 book boxes. I prefer to keep them under 5. I have had a couple people offer me huge boxes and I couldn't find even 1 book of theirs I wanted.  I dread to see the bigger offers come in because I know I will be declining. I like when it's 1 or 2 the best.

ETA: I agree Sherry.  Also I find it easier to find a box or envelope when it's just 1 or 2 books. When there's a whole bunch the finding a box, wrapping etc.., it too much like work.

Thanks everyone!  There are a few books I'd like that are really the only thing I'm interested in on the other person's shelf, and I didn't want to add books just for the sake of making it a bigger swap.  So far most of mine have been 2 or 3 books, and so far, all are going well except 1...
