What an inspiring true story! It was a good reminder of how I take so much for granted in my life. I do not know if I could have survived what Brooke went through and at eleven years old. The support of her family makes you think about how you would handle this type of challenge in your life. I like how it is written in alternating chapters by Jean (mom) and Brooke (daughter). It is definitely worth the read.
