Found this book in a used book exchange rack at the beach. Normally would not have picked it up, but I was desparate for something/anything to read. It was surprisingly good. Very well written. Also dealt with issues that made me think, which is not often the case with this type of novel. I would recommend it.

A terrific yarn says Larry King. Sidney Sheldon says a fast paced, high powered thriller written by two men who know their territory....story setting is Louisiana where a physician is poised to win confirmation as the next Surgeon General of the US...but, on the suddenly he is accused of gross infidelity..and the murder of his unborn go into a frenzy...debates on both sides of abortion...a trial looms....and something else...something else..
