I rec'd a book on Saturday, and promptly marked it rec'd, with no known problems.  After starting the book that afternoon, reading on and off yesterday, and this morning, I realized that around page 150, that the pages started over at 120 and a whole 30 page chunk was reprinted.  The next 30 pages from 150 to 180 are missing!!  I am so bummed as I can't continue reading it now, and wondered what the protocol is for a situation like this, once I have already marked the book received, without any problems?? TIA Keri

Contact the publisher and see if they will send a replacement for a mis-printed book.  No need to mention you bought is used.

My guess is the poster didn't read the book.  Technically it's not a damaged book but still not readable either.  I would do what Layne said. The publisher probably has a website where you might be able to email them.  Or their address should be listed on the publishing page.

I borrowed a book from a friend where pages 160-190 were duplicated.  It wasn't missing any of the pages, just had dupe pages.  really threw me off at first because I couldn't figure out why the story line wasn't right!
