Back of book says: The evil Duchess has kidnapped into her service a little girl know as Patience. As soon as she hears of Patience's dreadful fate, Miss Bianca, the fabulous Embassy mouse, determines upon her rescue. Enlisting the aid of the Mouse Prisoner's Aid Society, and notably her special friend Bernard Mouse, she sets out on her mission. But their are more mysterious creatures than mice stirring beneath the Duchess' palace.

I Say: If you have not met Miss Bianca and Bernard you need to. This book is one of the series that started with the book, The Rescuers. First written in 1962 this timeless series has been loved by many generations and will go on for many more.
