This is a cute book that I bought for my daughter because I remembered it from when I was a child. It has stuck with me through all these years and I recommend it for your children. Miss Suzy is a squirrel who befriends a group of toy soldiers. So cute!

I remember my mother reading this book to me when I was only 4 years old. I was always captivated by the colors and the little doll house no matter how many times she read it to me. Through all my many moves across state after state, this book still gets packed and taken with me so that childhood can be felt again for just the very briefest of moments when I first open it's cover.

This was my favorite book from my childhood, I can still remember all the pages down to the spider in the corner. I still say her little poem, "oh I love to cook, I love to bake, I think I'll bake an acorn cake."
