Lovelace has crafted an explosive story with well-developed characters with this book. I really enjoyed the chance to get to know and understand Marsh Henderson, a DEA agent, whose personal involvement in this recent case causes him to take an extraordinary risk when he uses the wrong sister to reel in his true target.
Neither Marsh nor Lauren took a backseat to the other. Both were equally well distributed and developed through the story in spite of, or rather because, the story was fast-paced and plot-driven.

Under the pressure of time, one would never really suppose that the two would not only make themselves understandable to the reader much less to each other and it is because of this that I think Mistaken Identity deserves a five star rating because Lovelace manages to craft a wonderful romantic tale between two characters who are brought together by their sense of responsibility towards family and justice.

Marsh Henderson's mission: find the lone witness to a drive-by shooting. He had a description and a name. The description- long-legged, sensuous, beautiful- fit the woman he found. But the name...

The woman in front of him claimed to be Lauren, not Becky Smith. But, Marsh decided, he could still use her as bait. Even though he'd located the wrong sister.

Or had he?
