Best read before bed book ever. This is the original, our family favorite. P.S. Jan Bret wrote a newer version, but in our opinion not as good.

This is a great story of a lost mitten, getting filled with animal friends. eventually the mitten bursts and a red hat of the mitten liner is left on a mouse head and the boy finds the stretched mitten. this story is a family tradition for us, and should be for you too!
