A gothic series with a typically Korean art style. Fans of vampires and Victorian gothic fashion will like this art style.

I loved this series. The vampire was true to form. He became a vampire to stay beautiful. He's selfish and narcissist. His downfall is he loves. Michael loves the child he helped raise. The child that is now a man and who is cold to him. He falls in love with the artist that wants to paint his picture. And the artwork! Love the gothic undertones!

The art was stunning, but the story bored me. There are two main characters; the boyish, aspiring artist and the effeminate vampire with emo undertones. The vampire is cold and a narcissist, who claims to have become a vampire to preserve his "beauty"... the artist is a sharp-looking young man, AHEM, I mean, young woman. The artist wants to paint the vampire. The vampire wants to drink "pure blood" so that his beauty won't be sullied by the blood of someone who is "not innocent". The artist's blood is acceptable to the vampire's delicate stomach, so they enter an arrangement. Well, I can see how this would be a very interesting story to those who find this kind of thing thrilling or romantic, but there simply wasn't enough interaction or action to let me feel very satisfied with the story. Still, the art was fantastic...
