Modern Science and the Genesis Record Author:Harry Rimmer This Second volume of the john Laurence Frost memorial Library continues the series on Apologetics which the author hopes to complete in four more volumes devoted to his work. Like the First Volume, "Th Harmony of Science and Scripture," most of this material in volume Two has not only been used in lecture form before student bodies, scientific... more » and teaching assemblies, as well as the general public, but has also appeared in pamphlet form and in stated editorials in various publications.
These complilations of fact and vindications of Scripture have been blessed of God to the establishment of the faith of thousands. This material is now gathered into the present volume in order that it may be permanently available to all who desire reasons for the hope that is in their hearts.
The reader is, of course, familiar with the New Testament episode of the personal-worked who approached another one saying, "Come and see! We have found him of whom Moses and the prophets did speak." After his resurrection from the dead, the Lord jesus opened the eyes of His apostles to all that was written concerning Himself by Moses and the prophets. Therefore, in all that Moses wrote, there must be a foreshadowing of the person and work of Jesus Christ. We do not attempt to study the book of Genesis purely for it's scientific value. We approach the study from that angle only that we may have additional illumination on the person and work of our Saviour. Therefore, each of the studies in these work-days of God is concluded with a picture of Him of whom Moses did speak.
Trusting that the blessing of God may dwell richly upon all who read these pages, this volume is launched to continue the testimony of the John Laurence Frost Memorial Library.
