If you have a child and try to have a life of your own this book knows your pain
very funny. good light read. maybe for the beach.
A quick, easy read. Best friends Kate Thompson and Dani Strauss are contemporary moms struggling to keep it all together. Kate, devoted wife and mother, seeks answers in self-help guides; Dani, a wisecracking attorney navigating the new waters of joint custody and the single life, looks for solutions in glossy magazines. When fate drops one million dollars into Kte's hands, they hit the road to get the "time to themselves" their lives never seem to allow. The head to New York City---the land of fabulous clothes, expensive makeovers, sexy men, and unlimited adventure---and it doesn't disappoint. But with the benefit of a new perspective and an unexpected plot twist, they recognize that they are not the only moms who could use a break, and the Mommy Fund is born.
This is a great read! Any mom knows how to relate!
