Don't know how many are concerned about the population of the beautiful monarch butterfly but if so, I'd like to share something.  Kellogg is supporting a monarch initiative.  The interesting thing is that we lose monarchs due to genetically modified crops (and other reasons).  Anyway guess whose cereals use GMO grains according to a recent research study?  I'm not buying Kellogg products!  Thank you DH for discovering this tidbit.

And, here are my offerings for the month:

Two summer notecards without envelopes. - Connie

One Charlie Brown poster.  He's sitting at a desk labeled Manager's Office under the headline "I'm still hoping that yesterday will get better."

1 Easter light tan kitchen towel with two white bunnies appliqued to it.  Debbie D.

Two note pads (larger type) - Jana

1 packet of mini sweet pepper seeds saved from 2015.  We've already started ours.  Joanne

1 packet of luffa seeds Joanne.  Others available.

Thanks for sharing this information, REK! Iam definitely interested as are many of my friends. I was happy to hear on the news this past week that the populations in South America have gone from covering 3000 acres last year to 12,000 this year.

Special seed can be garnered for these beautiful butterflies as well. An artist  friend I met online is sending some to me this week and I think this is another little bit we can all do for their dietary support. I am told the seed is also available at nurseries, but haven't checked that out yet.

I didn't know about this..thank you for sharing info. My Mom has two butterfly bushes in her yard so I am always happy to see butterflies flock to it. But the last several years I am starting to see less of them...now I know why.
