This book features 16 of Monet's paintings with actual size details. Each painting is analyzed with particular attention to the techniques used and how colors were chosen and applied. The reproductions are large and well-produced. This is a short book, only 60 pages, but features 8x11 size pages that capture the feeling of canvas paintings. It would be an excellent addition to an art history library.
