From the Help Center:

How to put funds into your PBS Money account:

  • You can do this from the PBS Kiosk. To get to the Kiosk:
    • Click Kiosk in the toolbar at the top of any page on the site and choose PBS Money there OR
    • Click the green + sign on your PBS Money account balance at the top of your account page OR
    • Click the link "Add PBS Money to Your Account" on your Wrapper Settings page
  • You can put any amount between $0.01 and $100.00 in your PBS Money Account.
  • You can use PayPal, a major credit card, or mail a check or money order to PBS headquarters to do this.
  • There is a $0.50 flat transaction fee for each Kiosk purchase, which applies no matter which payment method is used.
  • You can see your PBS Money account balance at the top of your account page, next to your credit balance. It also appears on the Wrapper Settings page when you go to print a wrapper.
    • You can click the green + sign on your PBS Money account balance in both places to add to your PBS Money account.
  • You can view the last two months of PBS Money account activity in your PBS Money Registry, linked from the top of your My Account page. The last 2 months of PBS Money activity is shown there.

Please note that PBS money is different than buying credits.   I don't think we have the option to use PBS money to buy credits.

Anything in the Kiosk can be bought with PBS Money now so I do believe you can buy credits with it. You wouldn't want to buy PBS Money and then buy credits with it though because you would pay the transaction fee each time, you'd want to directly buy credits if that is what you wanted.

I know they added the Market to PBS money.  Good to know that credits were added.

PBS Money can be used in the Kiosk and Market.

Introduced 5/12/2010.

Now you will be able to pay for anything in the Kiosk or Market using PBS Money!  This is something members have wanted for a long time and we're so happy to provide this.  You will find a new button in the Kiosk "Secure Checkout with PBS Money" below the other options.

Please note: there will be no Kiosk transaction fee associated with purchases paid for with PBS Money, as the original PBS Money purchase involved a transaction fee.

Thanks Robin! I did not recall that there was no transaction fee when purchasing with PBS Money. Then it wouldn't matter if the purchased the money, then credits, it would be the same in fees.
