12 year old boy is suspicious about happenings in a deserted house on his street. I suppose this teaches children how to be suspicious of strangers, which I think is overtaught, these days. Anyway, not sure why the title is "No Monsters In The Closet", no real references to monsters. The boy is something of a goody-two-shoes, by today's standards, he has 2 paperroutes, and is always doing things for his parents.
