Great addition to series. Monroe's world building is exciting and made me want to be there. Characters are as big as life and continue to grow. Happy to see where this series takes me.
Such a fun book and great series. Hope Monroe continues with it.
Things I loved about this book:
1. It didn't harp on Sabrine being there under false pretenses.
2. Characters didn't do dumb things, except the bad guys were kind of dumb
3. Even though there was a bit of whining and "poor me" it wasn't nervewrecking.
4. Fun dialogue and characters
Quick, easy, light read.
I do have to put a disclaimer. If you are really into historic accuracy you will spend most of this book exclaiming, "But that's not right?". If you get stand same-sex relationships, this book is probably not for you. It really reads more like a paranormal romance rather than a historic romance.
