This is an interesting tale of a Chinese opera star that becomes jealous of her understudy and throws a cup of very hot water in her face, leaving her scarred for life and ending both of their careers. 20 years later, a rich tobacco company owner wants to bring the Moon Opera back to life and contacts the failed star who has become a music teacher to return to the stage. If you like Chinese tales and the poetic language of them, you will enjoy this short tragic tale.
