I liked the premise of this book, as the subtitle suggests, that science can determine human values, and that secularism is not an abandonment of all moral standards. Unfortunately, I found the organization a little confusing and the writing choppy. It seemed that much of the book was an argument for a hypothetical case of points to be presented later, but the points themselves were brushed over too hastily.
