Another member made a post for people to send her daughter cards or books to help pick up her spirits.  If other members have family or friends in the military that need a pick up, maybe post a little about them and if someone has something the solider might like, they can send it.  It also may make a differece if it is just staying in the US or going to a APO, but I don't think sending to a APO is too much of a big deal.

I think this is a great idea. I have cards I'd like to send off and maybe stuff to keep them entertained.
