Odd Couple
Tim Harper and Kylene were misfits among the agents of the Algheran Project. Harper's mysterious origins in the 20th century--90,000 years in Algheran's past--made his allegiance suspect. And Kylene, the untrained telepath Harper had wrenched from her barbaric past, loathed Harper and hated everything Algheran stood for.
Now Harper had agreed to change secretly a crucial event in Algheran history. Kylene was to help him--but first he had to train her as an agent. So the two of them settled in for an educational sojourn in a primitive future wilderness.
