This is a dictionary of drugs, prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as street drugs and herbal medications. Each entry tells whether the drug is safe for pregnancy, what allergic reactions to watch for, and ways to tell if the medicine is therapeutic (helping you). Although I am a nurse and use these books on my job, still, I would not be without one at home. You do not need to be a doctor or nurse to be able to look up drugs and read about them. All drugs have pro's and con's, all have side effects. If you take any medications, you should have one of these in your home!
