This is my favorite kids book. The simple illustrations and the flow of the story are marvelous. Every kid I've read it to has loved it too. The cute little baby bird goes through the story looking for its mother and I think the way it goes about its quest really appeals to kids because it thinks the way they do. Highly recommended.
This is a great shortened version of the story for a board book.
Perfect diaper bag size for restaurants!
A young bird goes looking for his/her mother while the mother is out getting food...sweet and factual, until the baby bird despairs...and finds Mother right there.
A true classic in my opinion!
Very good beginner reader.
My 2-year-old son loves this book. He calls it the "mama book". I enjoy reading it to him, too...maybe even more than he enjoys hearing it. It's a great story.
Great book for repetition that children enjoy chiming in with "Are You my mother"...they love it every time.
We read this book 100's of times, kids love it!
Love Dr. Suess and the kids do too
One of my 3 year-old daughter's favorite stories
Cute story about a baby bird searching for his mom. Easy to read. 1-3 sentences per page.
An endearing story as the baby bird tries to find his way back to his mother--which he does. Yeah! Happy ending.
The adventurous trip of a baby bird trying to find his mother! I love this one! I think it may be my favorite, I side from the Cat in The Hat and Green Eggs and Ham!

One of the great Dr. Seuss books. A baby bird gets lost and searches for it's mother.
A baby bird looking for his mother.
I loved this book as a child, and so did my daughter! There is some crayon marks and a name in this book but it's still readable and mint condition otherwise.
