This is a preschooler's "classic." Written by Laura Joffe Numeroff and published originally in 1985, it has charming illustrations by Felicia Bond, and is imaginative in an ideal way for many 3,4, 5 year olds who delight in the kooky little things about everyday life. Perfect for reading aloud. Numeroff followed If You Give A Mouse... with equally popular sequels. This edition is a Weekly Reader hardcover.

EXCELLENT! GREAT ADDITION TO OUR COLLECTION OF "IF YOU GIVE" BOOKS.
Classic book from my own childhood, and my kids adore it too. Rather a more modern take on "the house that Jack built", and so cute.

This is a very cute book. I ordered it for my grandson who is 4. The way the book is written is amusing and he has practically memorized it. This book is one of his very favorites.
