I had two MP3-CD audio books to post - the first one posted without issue but the second one gives me this error:

This ISBN matches a book type that cannot be posted on PaperBackSwap.

These two books are the same format so why would one post find but not the other? I know MP3-CD audio books are allowed.

The ISBN is 9780545114097.

THANKS!

I won't be able to answer your question as to why it happens, but it does happen quite frequently.  I have had quite a few mp3 audiobooks that I have had to post as if they don't have an ISBN.  They usually still go pretty quickly so go ahead and post that way if you want to.

PBS doesn't have a 'Book Type' for MP3 CDs - they are perfectly acceptable/postable, EXCEPT when the database system finds them as MP3-CD rather than just Audio CD, it doesn't have a place/way to add the listing.  You would have to create a non- or short- ISBN using Post a book without an ISBN.  Have your case 'in hand' as you have to add all the information to the listing.  You can add the actual ISBN below the synopsis in the description field if you want to reference it.

Be sure to change the (default) book type from paperback to Audio CD and if you add (Audio MP3 CD) (Abridged or Unabridged) to the title field, you're all set!

Anna, please consider changing your font. I can't possibly be the only one that can't read it.

Sorry!  I didn't realize the font was a problem.  Thanks for letting me know!

I think there is a difference depending on the browser you use... Sasssy, is this font OK?  It's Courier New, and I like it better than Tahoma or Ariel...

Anna, the new Courier font is fine. Tahoma is the default, I think. You were using the Comic Sans. On the iPad, using Safari, Comic Sans shows up as a smaller densely kerned font size and looks like cursive. Very difficult to read; I mostly would trudge through but if a post is longer I copy it into a note and read it outside of my browser.
