Pretty good book by Frank Sinatra's personal valet. He doesn't hold anything back; from the boozing, hookers, mafia ties and political involvement he tells it the way he saw it. He delves into Sinatra's love/lust of the women of Hollywood from upcoming starlets, to chorus line dancers, to the A-list of female stars, Sinatra bedded them all and then shared them with his close fiends. He talks about the heavy alcohol consumption the was a daily part of Sinatra's life ad of those close to him. Frank's ties to the mafia are also revealed in this book but the author doesn't go in too deep with the details. Sinatra's involvement in JFK's run for the presidency is pretty well covered, everything from Joseph Kennedy Sr's racism and to JFK's cocaine and extramarital affairs. If you thought you knew Frank Sinatra the think again.

This book is far too much fun -- deliciously wicked, like peeking through a keyhole into the rarefied air of old Hollywood, Vegas and Palm Springs. Written by Sinatra's valet, it is an intimate journal, but I would not classify it as a "poison pen" account. It rings true, features great anecdotes and character studies of Old Blue Eyes, his cronies, lovers, friends and enemies. Oh, go ahead...peek through the keyhole and enjoy!
