I went on a crazy ride of intrigue and suspense with this dark, creepy thriller and loved every moment.
The plot twists happen quickly and there are many! The ending was unexpected and a total surprise. Another unputdownable, gripping story by Ms Kubica.

This is a twisty tale that becomes more compelling the further you read. I was losing patience with the protagonist in the beginning. To be a doctor, she is not very smart. There are multiple perspectives and it's not clear exactly who these other characters are and where they fit into the tale until later. In the end it's really good though!

Mary Kubica has written a dark and disturbing psychological thriller that is hard to put down. Sadie and Will Foust have moved their family from Chicago to a small town in Maine. Morgan Baines, their neighbor is found dead and suspects galore are brought to light as we meet the characters that may be involved in the murder. 3 women give their POV throughout and many secrets manifest that could lead to murder. The plot is well paced and filled with twists that make for a very creepy and suspenseful read. Just when you think you know who the murderer is, the edge-of-your-seat-surprise ending that Kubica is famous for slaps you in the face. I look forward to Kubica's next thiller and highly recommend this one. Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Park Row for an ARC for an honest review.

I must be the only one to not like this one? It is so boring and hard to stick with past page 80

This has too many POV and that is something in a book that I hate! I'm very very picky so a book has to grab me right from the beginning and this one? does not!

It refers to Otto's problem and it takes pages before it comes out he took a knife to school--all I'll say about that

Then you have the other characters that might confuse you so all I'll say it has to do with mental health issues

I went to Amazon reviews after reading approx. 80 pages I was so bored and one reviewer gave the whole storyline in her review and I'm thankful she did, it kept me from trying to read any further

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and I would especially say DON'T SPEND MONEY FOR IT!
If you want to read it get it from the library so it won't cost anything it isn't worth a penny
