I finished this book on my Nook today.  I got it for free from smashwords.com.  It was incredible!

It takes place in Hungary in WWII.  The Nazi's have just invaded Hungary.  A woman, her mentally ill sister, and their niece are trying to get to the train to escape.  When they get their they find that their relative has abandoned them and they are trapped.  The story is about how they try to survive as Hungary falls further into Nazi control, when neighbors turn against neighbors, and money  changes loyalties.

Except for a couple of typos (it's soldier, not solider), I found it to be well written and riveting.

Has anyone else read it?
