This is a tender yet painful story of what happens in the life of a child-become-adult when parents keep secrets that affect the child & the adult she becomes. Willa cannot move forward in her life until the secrets are uncovered, yet in the uncovering there is much pain. In the midst of the pain she finds the sufficiency of Christ & the answers to her future. This book was extremely well-written & captures Jesus' own words that "the truth will set you free."
