This is the story of Jon & Kate Gosselin's life from the time they met till publication in 2008. Although the first chapter touches on the couples' meeting and marriage, the majority of the book is about Kate's difficulties conceiving, followed by the birth of their twingirls, then the pregnancy, birth, and life with sextuplets. It gives a pretty good look from Kate's perspective into what went on "behind the scenes" before their life became a reality series on TLC. Just in case religious references are offensive to some, please be aware that there are Biblical scriptures at the start of each chapter and in the text of the book as well, although I didn't find the book preachy at all. This was an enjoyable read.

I thought this book was really cute... It is a biographical account of Kate and Jon Gosselins experience of becoming pregnant with (and going through a rough pregnancy)and finally having and bringing home sextuplets to add to their already existing brood of twins... ALot of religious quotes and anecdotes, Kate frequently notes bible passages she used as inspiration throughout her pregnancy and afterwards when she thought her world was about to crumble (but as we all know it definitly didnt) A cute quick read that lets you see what happened before the beginning of "jon & kate plus 8"

I enjoyed this book about the dedication of a family with twins and expecting sextuplets. Kate inspired me through her hard work, loyalty to family, and faith in God.
