For the last couple of weeks, I have been getting emails about a book which is similar to a book I have on  my wishlist.  It does not give me the opportunity to either accept or decline the offer, it just tells me the book is available.

The annoying thing is that I have received the same email about the exact same book about a dozen times.

What can I do to stop this?  Does anyone know?

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

You can stop the "Similar to" emails by changing your settings.  My Account -> Settings -> Email  and check the types of emails you don't want.

hope this helps.

It won't offer the book to you.  It'll tell you that one has been posted. Then you can choose to order it if someone hasn't beaten you to it first.

If you only want the versions you have on your WL then I suggest turning off the emails. I have it turned off. I WL a lot of audiobooks that are posted in print.

I turned those off because I was wishing for audio book copies of some rather heavily posted books and I kept getting emails about the printed books. Lots of them. It can be quite annoying.

It's actually the only PBS email feature I like.  The bulk of my WL is made up of obscurities and I've gotten a few rarely posted books through it.  But I can understand if one wanted audiobooks how it woul be a total annoyance.

I have a lot of Agatha Christie audio books on my wishlist.  When I first joined, those emails were driving me crazy until I figured out how to turn them off.  Do you have any idea how many Christie print books are posted each day?  Dozens.
