Note that boxers can take advantage of these deals, BUT I'll box the below deals, ONLY IF you have books that are on my list under my profile, or similar Historical romance and SciFi/Fantasy books. If you don't have any of those books, don't bother offering a box, that's all I'm looking for right now. I don't mean that to be rude, it's just that I have a TBR that has expanded to an entire room!!

**************************
I have a lot of ROMANCE I would love to share with you, since I read very little of it. Please, when you order send me a PM with the name of the book(s) you ordered and the name & author(s) of the book(s) you would like for your freebie(s).

Hubby has some romance, and kids books on his shelf as well, and it doesn't matter to us if you order off his shelf and pick your freebie from mine or whichever way you do it. Both shelves count in these deals together mix-n-match however you please, just make sure you send your PM to ME as he doesn't check real often (he's watching football this afternoon & tomorrow afternoon, and Sunday will be racing :)

Link to his shelf is   Marcus N. - Handlebars

Harlequin, Harlequin Suspense, Silhouette, Love Inspired, Heartsong, Steeple Hill, etc sized books, 3/1
Misc. Reg sized Romance 2/1

*************************
I have A LOT of KIDS books, and I'd like to offer some 2/1 and 3/1 specials on them. Look over my selection and make me a deal and we can see what we work out. Most of my books are in very good condition, though, if you want it for a gift, be sure to ask and I'll check for any blemishes at all.

Nancey Drew 2/1
Hardy Boys  2.1
Baby-sitters Club, & BS Little Sister  3/1
Misc other books, mostly 2/1 but ask and we will see.

**************************
Lastly, I have a selection of COOKBOOKS. BUT, several of them are little things (the type/size of those bought at the grocery checkout counter.

Now, before someone starts crying foul and saying those cant be posted, SOME can. Here is the down-and-dirty way to decide. It depends:

  1. Whether they contain advertising (regardless of ISBN or size)
    • Stop here if they have ads. They are not postable.  (Regardless of 1st class mailing, PBS says no ads. Period.)
  2. How many pages they have, if they are non ISBN items
    • If they have no ads and no ISBN, then count the pages. They must have 50 pgs.
  3. If they have an ISBN, no ads, and they meet the description of a book (not cards, etc) they are postable, regardless of pages.

Anyway, I have some good cookbooks and the small ones, plus a list of booklets that are not postable (under 50 pgs/ads/etc)

I propose, that for every regular sized cookbook ordered (A), you may have a free copy of one of the little posteds(B) and a free little unpostable (C).

 To be clear, that means:

  • 3 = 1-A, 1-B, 1-C or
  • 3 = 2-B's, 1-C

The posted little books (B) are listed here and more B's in the 3rd post down:

  1. Stir-Fry & Pan-Fry Recipes :: Anne Wilson
    ISBN-13: 9783829003858 - ISBN-10: 3829003854
  2. Deliciously Simple :: Kraft Creative Kitchens Staff
    ISBN-13: 197846 - ISBN-10:
  3. Fresh Ideas Garlic: Easy Recipes for Great Meals :: Chef Ron Kalenuik

  4. No-Bake Desserts :: Marvella Marion-Bowen

  7. Bake Off : Cookie Favorites :: Barbara Thornton, Director

  • 40th Anniversary Cookbook :
    • Goshen Floral and Gift Shop Goshen Floral Employees
    • This cookbook is dedicated to “Grandma Myers”. She was a pillar of strength, both physically and morally, to the Goshen Floral Family with whom she worked. She was always “Grandma”, to them all. Often after one of our many carry-in dinners, when we enjoy trying new recipes, Grandma would say "We should make a cookbook!" Well, to celebrate Goshen Floral Shop's 40th Anniversaary, we are proud to share this cookbook, including some of Grandma's recipes. Most of the recipes are not originals, but favorites we have had the joy of sharing with each other. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have. 124p. 8.5 x 7.75"
  • Adventures in Microwave Cooking
    • Montgomery Ward Culinary Arts & Services
    • Speed is what today's busy person likes about microwave cooking. But there are other benefits. Easy cleanup is the natural outcome of being able to cook right in the serving dish. And since the microwave oven walls don't get hot, spills don't burn on. no elbo grease is needed to keep this oven in top condition. Microwave cooking is cool because only the food heats up. And its energy efficient because all of the heat is inside the food, none is wasted heating the surrounding air or pan. This cookbook is easy to follow with nice colored photographs and easy to follow directions.  208 pages  11 x 8.6 x 0.6

  • Best of the Old Farmer's Almanac
    • Hale, Judson
    • 679737847
    • This entertaining, informative gem needs to be shelved with the current magazines as it is designed for browsers who will learn some unusual, unbelievable tidbits of science and American history as they thumb through. The first 50 pages present a history of the almanac that directly relates to what was happening in the U. S. itself. The countless black-and-white photographs, the boxed informational trivia, and the quips and quotes are sure to please. The lack of an index makes this resource difficult to use for reference even though it includes some hard-to-find topics.  --Copyright 1992 Reed Business Information, Inc. The first issue appeared when George Washington was president. Ever since, Americans have turned to The Old Farmer's Almanac for a yearly dollop of homespun wit, tried-and-true advice, amazing trivia, and, of course, remarkably accurate weather predictions.

    • Light, airy souffles…gorgeous grilled vegetables…sinfully delicious desserts…flavorful foods that satisy the palate--and are healthy too!!
"This book is the result of one woman's lifelong battle with her hips." Brown's "five to six meals a day" as food editor of USA Today eventually caused her to fight back--she became "a walking calorie calculator" and furious foe of salt who was nevertheless hard put to content her "rather jaded palate" with dull and dispiriting "health" chow. So, in 1987, she founded the Gourmet Gazelle, a carry-out food shop on Manhattan's Upper East Side, to wage war on a larger scale. Her low-calorie, -fat, -cholesterol, -sodium dishes, though not presented with a dieting readers in mind, will aid and abet them, while her grandmotherly kitchen hints and international range (Caribbean grouper, Asian chicken salad) should please most tastes.   --Copyright 1989 Reed Business Information, Inc.

    • Imagine a program where you can indulge in your favorite foods--from steak to pasta, and even champagne--and still lose weight easily. Then imagine being able to maintain your new slim shape forever. With this new program, author Judy Mazel has made your dreams a reality. She shows you how to take charge of the foods you eat to achieve a lifestyle eating plan that will keep you off the "fat track" for good. The secret to your new slimhood rests with Conscious Combining. Refined and expanded from its introduction in Mazel's original book, this technique teaches you how and when to mix different food groups for optimum weight control. You'll also learn the four golden rules of weight management, plus the significance of enzyme interaction in weight loss. The program now includes a 35-day "Born Again Skinny" diet with recipes for your new food lifestyle. This is a diet many Hollywood stars have embraced. Judy's private client list has included luminaries such as Jack Nicholson, Jodie Foster, Maria Shriver and and Engelbert Humperdinck. They, and countless others, found this to be the lifestyle eating plan that changed their shape forever.
  • No Willpower Diet
    • Helen Ayers Davis
    • Instead of self-denial, Mrs. Davis recommends self-indulgence. If you follow her advice, you make up your own diet as you go along, eating the kinds of foods you like best, cutting out only those you can easily resist. With the aid of some very original food ideas, plus hundreds of calorie substituion recipes, she suggest meals that include pancakes, pudding, sandwiches, sauces cakes, sncks by the handful, hefty soups, filling meat platters, and humdreds of other dishes usuall denied dieters. The tast of the recieps, Mrs Davis says, is so suberb that you can proudly serve everything she suggests to your thinniest gourmet friends, and they won't detect the differece. nor will you. Every thing in the book has been thorourghly test by Helen Davis in her kitchen, and on family and friends (all attractively slim!)

Dearest Sherry,

It's been a month since my eye surgery and just when I think things are starting to get better the vision in my right eye gets hazy again.  The surgeon took one look after they used drops, asked if I had a cold, and when I answered in the negative said he thinks I'm allergic to the preservative in eye drops.  But, of course, I have to use some every day.   I don't know whether the acupuncturist I go to for allergies can isolate a preservative and treat me but you can get I''m going to ask him.   Meanwhile, I'll squint my way through messages and lists.

Speaking of lists, I read your list of cookbooks BUT how do I access the kids books and the romances?  Do I have to go directly to your (gulp) Bookshelf or have you isolated the particular books you wrote about?

I'll watch for you on our Buddy list and if I can see and you are there I'll PM you.  Be well.

Ruth T.

Hi Sherry, I'd like the jello cookbook and the McCormick if they are still available.  I'm also going to check out your novels, so I"ll write again, but want to hold these two.   Hugs Pat

Ruth, unfortunately, I have way to many kids and romance books for me to isolate them. You'll just have to pull them up by categories as to which you are looking for most (like Romance: Regency, or Romance: Historical) or (children's: 9-12, or Teens, or Children's: Social issues) that type thing.

Pat, I have your two books marked off! Got it now ;)

LisaAnne, check your email for me.

Thanks, Cozette :)

Holding your books for you, Kathy J!

Sherry, I am sorry to hear about your troubles. You have always been so nice and helpful whenever I have asked. If it helps my mother had breast cancer and had her left breast removed. She turned 80 this year and is going strong. I will wish you a speedy recovery and good health for many more years.

Thank you Sue, I wish I could twitch my nose and make all these cookbooks appear posted with descriptions, but it just insn't happening like I hoped. I didn't help that hubby DID find the other two big  boxes that I was sure I had!!! Got some really good stuff, just not posted yet, so please check back, and find the rest of my cookbook sale BIGGER and BETTER than ever! Won't get it finished tonight, but he says he thinks we can get it whipped tomorrw. He's so wonderful to help me, the world's greatest husband, not only doesn't care that I have a 2400 TBR (because his is right up there too :) Doesn't care than I spent all my time on PBS (He spends his on the Internet, just not PBS :)  And helps me with loading huge projects like this (oh, and he cooks, does dishes and laundry right now too!) What more could a girl ask for !!!

Ok, things are back in order, and this sale is back on. Had a little conflict and had to put it on hold for a day or so, but all is well now. If you previously ordered cookbooks, you should have an email from me concerning your order, if you haven't ordered, please post here and send me an email as to what books you want from the lists above. Not all are cookbooks are posted (in fact, most of them are not) but if they are not crossed off above, they are available! Just send me a PM and we will work it out!

I hope it all makes sense to everyone, and that you will take advantage of the sales that you want the most.
