I thought this book was really good. I like the way that the authors blended the past with the present. Also since it based on a true story, it made it even more interesting.

So many books... so little time. So I'd say don't waste your time w/ this HORRIBLY written book. The dialogue is stilted and like nothing I've ever heard anyone say. The entire thing was just so poor. I know there have been all sorts of scandals involving Hearst and Chaplin and Davies etc, but the writing style of this book was monumentally boring. TO be honest, I only was able to wade thru about 1/3 of this before I decided to stop. I mean if I voluntarily had my head in a vice, I'd remove it ASAP but I don't know why I tortured myself for as long as I did w/ this book. Juvenile and sophomoric and boring.
